The older I get
thoughtful I become
Deeper I think
Hair splitting distinctions
make me disagree
with many on many.
Likes and dislikes run deep
distancing people mine own.
Perhaps it is maturity
weakening bonds with men and matters
Preparation for the final journey
without an emotional bye.
