Hyderabad: As expected, the result of Dubbaka by-poll is showing impact on congress party which fared miserably in the election. Congress stood in a poor third position in Dubbaka by-poll which was a rude shock to the party leaders as they thought they will be in second place as happened in previous elections.
Now the latest heartburning news for them is former MP, Vijayashnathi’s decision to quit the party and join BJP. As per the latest news, Vijayashanthi is leaving for Delhi on Nov 14th to meet BJP top leaders. She might join BJP in the presence of J.P. Nadda, President of the BJP on the same day. Earlier, she held talks with BJP high command with the mediation of G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of State for Home and TBJP President Bandi Sanjay, who cleared the route for her entry into party. She also praised BJP leaders for the fight they put up against TRS govt in Telangana.
Dubbaka Result Impact: There has been talk in political circles for a few months that the fire brand actor-turned-politician will join BJP. The win by BJP in Dubbaka made her hasten up with the Delhi visit. She has not been active in politics for long time.
