- KCR writes to Modi
Hyderabad: Telangana State Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to request him to allow persons who studied in regional languages to answer questions in the competitive examination conducted to select candidates for Central services in regional languages.
He said so far the exams conducted by Union Public Service Commission are allowed to be written in Hindi or English. But those who did not study in English medium and were not good in Hindi are at a definite disadvantage. In order to give equal opportunities to all the citizen, the Union government may allow the examination conducted by Central agencies to be answered in Telugu and other regional languages.
