BHAKTI-LOVE AMBROSIA Part XIII

Hence shun bad company O seekers young.
The grace and guidance of Guru can sure
help you tread rosy path and climb the rungs
of sacred stairs scenting the occult spoor.

A small pebble is all to bring ripples
in waters still in a lake. So is the mind
…gets disturbed by trifle setbacks, cavils
andcarps. You can’t freeze it from mortal grind.

as prayers of love, let ripples roll as beads

you smell jasmines. And lo, when slumber you
amid fish baskets stink you fish. O maids…

savors and scents are Maya-made palpable
pipedreams. Only those self-realized Gurus
can pull you out of this phantom bubble.

The one in deep bhakti slowly withdraws
himself from madding earthly indulgence.
For him, the outer world is just a pause
as spends whole time listening to soul’s cadence.

He loves silence, and stays in solitude.
He keeps waddling through inner rhapsody,
away from trait-trio and desires lewd,
shunning money, comforts and luxury.
