Hyderabad: The rift between Etala Rajender and Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) has widened much more. Rajender addressing Press Meet on Monday aimed gun at TRS supremo KCR for the allegation of land grabbing against him.
Rajender said, “I am not a small person to be afraid of arrests and cases and I resigned in 2008 when you ordered. I never did anything wrong to tarnish party or your name and the government. I know you well for the past 19 years and you know me well, we both worked closely together and you used to call me as your brother. Then why these sudden allegations against me, what happened to you?” Rajender questioned TRS chief.
“Report by collector says that roads were being laid from assigned lands to my poultry which is not true. In fact it was done on the way to your farm house. You used all forces like ACB, Vigilance and Revenue departments against me, is it necessary to do so on a small person like me. As a CM, if you order, Government officials will submit report as per your wish. Everyone knows how KCR takes revenge. My activists advised me not to do anything out of anger. I am ready to die but will never lose self respect,” Etala re-iterated at the media meet.
“Do the inquiry officers know rules and regulations before surveying? Notice should be given 15 days prior to the survey, but it was not done, I have no connections with Jamuna Hatcheries. At least my explanation was not taken. I will go legally and will approach court. I am ready for any punishment if court proves that I committed any mistake,” Rajender added.
Will resign if needed
“If party strongly believe that I have won on its symbol (car), I am ready to resign as an MLA. I would go to the people and take their advice, suggestions and make a decision. Human relations and self respect are important. For how many days they can put me in jail? I demand an honest trial on my assets with a sitting judge. We should see ourselves as human beings not as ministers. Not a single minister with you has self respect, but Rajender will die if necessary but would not live without self respect,” Etala pointed out to KCR.
