- No complaint filed, says karimnagar police
- Key aide of former Minister Etala Rajender
- Missing became talking point in Telangana
Karimnagar: The news of Putta Madhu, Ex-MLA of Manthani and Peddapalli ZP Chairman, missing became a hot topic in Telangana state. Reason for this is , Madhu is a close aide of former minister Etala Rajender, who is being hounded in TRS for a few days. Madhu was reportedly missing from May 1st. He left his personal security at Manthani on the day.
Police say that they have not received any missing complaint from his family members until now and said they were not verifying about whereabouts of the chairman. Meanwhile, Madhu family members all these days were saying that he went to Kerala for Ayurveda treatment, but after they have not received any messages from him for the last two days, they met TRS MLA Koppula Eshwar and complained about the missing Madhu.
Reliable sources say that from April 28th, when former minister Etala Rajender addressed a media conference on land grabbing allegations against him, Madhu went to an undisclosed location. Though official complaint was snot lodged at PS, police sources say that he might be in Maharashtra.
Putta Madhu, key aide of Etala
Madhu is said to be close aide of former Minister Etala Rajender. He was an Ex MLA of Manthani and at present Chairman of Peddapalli Zilla Parsihad. After Etala started criticising CM K. Chandrsekhar Rao, Madhu went to an undisclosed location as Government tightened its grip on Etala followers with cases. Madhu’s name came into the limelight recently when Karimnagar district witnessed a double murder of an Advocate family. Though Madhu denied the allegations against him by dubbing it as ‘political conspiracy’, TRS top leaders still believe his role in the double-murder after his nephew Bittu Srinu was taken into custody. At the time of murder investigation, there were rumours that relationship between CM and KTR with Madhu was not well and they even refused to meet him. Now the episode of Etala might have prompted Madhu to go into hiding out of fear that the Government may take action against him, linking with advocate murder, felt his close followers.
