Though Etala said that it was part of his decision to meet leaders of all parties, this meeting has political significance. Rajender confessed that he was blamed for land grabs. It is well known that Rajender has been sacked from the ministry on charges of encroaching on assigned lands in Masaipet and Hakimpet. The allegations were made against his followers too that they grabbed SriSitaramachandraswamy Temple lands in Devarayanjal.
