Telangana State Survey: It will be TRS Vs BJP

  • Findings by political analyst Arnav
  • Predicted West Bengal with 100% accuracy
  • No impact of YSRTP in Telangana
  • INC will improve seats

Hyderabad: Halfway mark of the term in state has been completed and that of NDA at the centre is nearing. The political scenario is changing at the centre and in Telangana State. Few pollsters say, anti -Modi wave or anti-incumbency is increasing at central level and same is the case with the TRS in the state. At this juncture, here are a few findings of the survey done by a political analyst Arnav Reddy which is trending on social media. This is the only survey agency which predicted that Mamata will become Chief Minister once again in west Bengal hitting hattrick by winning 200 seats.

The survey in Telangana state shows that it will be a close battle between ruling party TRS and BJP. In majority constituencies, the split in votes between congresses and BJP will help the ruling party and the solid Muslim vote bank would tilt towards TRS rather than the Congress thus safeguarding the ruling party. There will be some surge in votes for INC, but it will not help the party gain more seats when compared to 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

The survey also predicts that there will not be much impact of newly launched party, YSRTP, in Telangana.  The BJP has edge in some districts and the TRS in the rest. The Congress and the AIMIL will get one parliament seat each. Here are the projections:

Nizamabad: BJP

Adilabad: BJP

Karimnagar: BJP

Peddapalle: TRS

Warangal: TRS

Zahirabad: TRS

Khammam: TRS

Mahabubnagar: BJP

Chevella : TRS

Secunderabad: BJP

Hyderabad: AIMIM

Nagarkurnool : TRS

Malkajgiri: BJP

Bhuavangiri: TRS Vs Cong (TRS edge)

Medak: TRS

Mahaboobabad: TRS

Nalgonda: TRS Vs Cong, Cong edge

Malkajgiri constituency which is the sitting seat of Congress, is now facing anti-incumbency and the same with Bhongiri. There is split in strong Reddy community which matters for Lok Sabha. Nearly 35% of the community are supporting BJP, 30% for TRS and 30% for Congress.

The overall projection as of now for next Lok Sabha seats is as follows:

TRS 9

BJP 6

INC 1

AIMIM 1

The survey was done between June 25th to July 10th and with halfway period to go for elections, we have to see how political parties change their game plan to gain upper hand.
