Hyderabad: The White challenge between IT Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao and TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy took new turn after KTR filed defamation suit on the latter in City Court on Monday.
“Today I have invoked the legal process and filed a suit for defamation and injunction before the Hon’ble court. I am confident that the Court process will conclusively vindicate the falsity of the canards and lies spread against me and the culprits will be brought to book appropriately” Minister KTR tweeted.

In his micro blogging site, KTR said that he is ready for any test and will travel to AIIMS, Delhi, if Rahul Gandhi is willing to join. It’s below my dignity to do it with Cherlapally jail alumni if I take the test and get a clean chit, will you apologise and quit your posts? Are you ready for lie detector test on Note for vote?
Revanth lashes out at KTR
TPCC Chief lashed out at KTR over corruption charges in Sahara Provident Fund and ESI hospital construction scandals. Revanth challenged KTR to come up with time and place for lie detector test along with CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao on CBI cases in above scandals. The Tollywood drugs case turned political colour after Revanth Reddy called for white challenge stating that celebrities and Ministers should take up drug test. He also threw challenge to KTR and Konda Visweswara reddy to meet at Amaraveerula Sthupama on Monday at 12 pm if challenge is accepted. Revanth came to the spot on Monday at 12 pm , but at the same time, KTR filed defamation suit in the court and now this war between these two leaders turned into judicial fight.
