English Poem
Sacred river waters brought from four sides
Scholars of Vedas Best of Brahmins blessed
Sang Mantras, Sprinkled on Groom and me,
Set Protective wrist bonds So I Dreamt Dear.
Just as the Vaanaras, under the Command of King Sugreeva brought water from the four oceans for SrI Rama Pattabhishekam, Goda Devi saw in her dream that the holy waters are being brought for her marriage from all four directions. The best vedic scholars were singing mantras and sprinkling the waters with blessings. Brahma, Periyaalwar and the Sapta Rishis along with vedic scholars took that sacred waters, purified further with Udaka Santi Mantrams and sprinkled on my head chanting blessing mantras. They tied yellow threat with mango leaf as protective bond on my wrist, after decorating the groom Ranganatha, so I dreamt dear friend.Â
