New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh government has filed affidavit in Supreme Court on Wednesday alleging that Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju, Narasarpuram MP, has been inciting people in the name of caste and religion to kill each other. One should not cross the limits in the name of freedom of speech and create disaffection among the people against the elected government.

The government cannot wait for a complaint to be registered when the MP continues to destroy tranquility in the society, the affidavit said. The government has prepared an FIR for after thoroughly reading his hate speeches. The government has filed counter affidavit requesting the apex court to squash the petition filed by Ragh Ramakrishnam Raju.

Meanwhile, Rama Devi, Raghu Ramakrshnam Raju’s wife and his son Bharat had met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Wednesday and complained about the harassment meted out to Raju by the government led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The bail petition filed by Raju will be taken up on Friday when the medical examination report sent by the military hospital in Secunderabad will be taken out from the sealed cover. The sealed cover was sent to the SC by Telangana High Court on Wednesday. Raju is at army hospital awaiting the orders of the apex court.
