- TRS, Cong, BJP Condemns Akbaruddin statement
- Communal heat pitching up after many years
- Voters worried on leaders statements
Hyderabad: GHMC Poll campaign is heating up to a level exceeding all the limits with emotional, sensitive rhetoric by party leaders. The war of words was between TRS and BJP all these days but now the turn of MIM has come to attack other parties, mainly on BJP and TRS. It is a tactical game by AIMIM, with elder brother criticising TRS and younger, aiming guns on BJP to show that AIMIM is maintaining equal distance from two parties.
Today Akbaruddin Owaisi moved a step forward and demanded the ruling party to demolish or uproot the samadhi’s of NTR and PV’s statue and throw them into Husain sagar. ‘TRS is saying that it will demolish all illegal constructions, Husain sagar was around 7000 acres, but now it is only 700 acres, it all occupied and the statues on Tank bund were also unauthorised, demolish them first and talk of encroachment’, Akbar Said.

Bandi moves a step forward
TBJP President moved a step forward on comments against Akbaruddin.” If you demolish the statues, we will demolish Darussalam within minutes. How dare you talk like that?” he questioned. “My comments about surgical strike are on Rohingyas not on people of our country.PMO wrote a letter in September 2019 stating that Rohingyas are settled in Hyderabad around Durgamcheruvu and asked the State government to take action. Where is the action by state Govt? Even Deputy CM Mahamood Ali said that Bangaldeshi’s and Rohingyas had migrated into Hyderabad, then why did not they take action? Are they fearing AIMIM?” Sanjay asked with aguish. People are supporting surgical strike slogan and BJP will do what people ask, Sanjay said justifying his comments.

Voters tense
it is clear that atmosphere is getting hot with war of words between BJP and AIMIM. Both parties are gearing up with a communal slogans in the campaign which is leading to a sensitive situation and tense atmosphere in Hyderabad city. Voters are looking for the development agenda rather than communal politics. When Akbaruddin started campaign with the same stance in Musheerabad constituency, voters revolted against him shouting that they are not interested in communal politics and they need development. Today it is for AIMIM and tomorrow it may happen to other parties also if they do not stop communal touch in the campaign.
