Donald Trump, Impeached twice

  • Lost by 232 to 197 votes, becomes first US President to be impeached twice
  • Trump charged with’ incitement of insurrection’.

Washington: Donald trump was impeached for his role in last week’s Capitol Hill riot as per House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Congress voted 232 to 197 against Trump, thus making him the First president to be impeached twice in US history. The act was taken after Trump was impeached for allegedly inciting violence at Capitol Hill.
Trump now has to face a trail in the senate which will be held after January 20th, the day when Joe Biden will take oath as President of America. The final verdict will not be reached until after President Trump leaves office, as per Mc Connell. 10 GOP members voted against Trump, which in the year 2020, was not seen when he was impeached for the first time Speaker Nanci termed Capitol attackers as ‘Domestic terrorists’ and said President of US, Donald Trump incited the insurrection. She even termed Trump as a ‘Danger to the Nation’.

The outgoing President received harsh treatement from social media, with his Twitter and face book accounts were blocked.Earlier in 2019, Trump was impeached for trying to get Ukraine to dig up dirt on Biden, just before elections, but was acquitted in Feb 2020 with no Republican votes.
