Education sans moral values is futile

Today commercialized  education is only about Science and Maths. Removal of moral stories; short biographies of people like Sankaracharya, Rana Pratap, Gandhi; Citizenship Training, Craft and drawing periods from curriculam drained moral values, aesthetic sense and human values from education. It is essential to know about our culture, to know good and bad, to practise dignity of labour, to know our rights and duties and most important human values. Some of the highly educated people today are damaging society more as they have not learnt to be human beings. Along with material progress development of character should be the aim of education. Otherwise this will be a world of robots exploiting all.
