Hyderabad: According to sources of Election Commission of India, the bypoll of Huzurabad constituency will be in first week of September and the result will be declared by 10th September. Bypoll is necessitated after Etala Rajender resigned from TRS and also as an MLA which was accepted by Speaker Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy on June 12th.

Its test for Rajender rather than BJP
The bypoll will be a big test for Eatala Rajender rather than for the saffron party. Rajender who won 6 times as MLA from TRS, is fighting against the ruling party for the first time after he faced allegations of land scam. Huzurabad people gave him a huge welcome when he visited his constituency as a BJP leader. But the unity among leaders is missing which might impact the result. Senior leader Peddireddy is staying far from party meetings and he did not even meet Rajender until today. Speculations say that he may tilt towards the TRS before elections. But on the part of the BJP, leaders are trying hard to help Rajender win. Party announced in charges for each mandal and they started campaigning for BJP for a few days.

BJP leaders say that Huzurabad people are ready to teach a lesson to the TRS as they strongly feel that the son of their soil was wrongly targeted and will give a mammoth win for Rajender. BJP after debacle of Sagar bypoll took Huzurabad bypoll seriously. It is implementing same plan which worked well in Dubbaka and brought party into limelight. If BJP wins, it will speed up momentum, if it loses, it will end by passing the buck to candidate Rajender.

Test for TRS too
TRS Supremo, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) took the bypoll battle as his personal prestige and does not want to give any chance for both BJP and Rajender. From day one after Rajender joined BJP, the ruling party ministers have been touring in the constituency with promises and development activities. Trouble shooter, Minister Harish Rao was given the charge of the bypoll and minister Gangula Kamalakar is staying in constituency to implement the winning strategy entrusted to him by CM.

The candidate for the party has not yet been finalised but KCR is getting reports every day from Intelligence sources. Surveys conducted by these intelligence agencies gave report for TRS chief saying that party will win with huge margin.
Any negative result will surely affect the future of the party. With the Congress gaining momentum under new TPCC chief Revanth Reddy on one side and the surging saffron party on the other. Government administrators, ministers, MLAs and second rung cadre all are focussing for a huge win for the party to keep up their boss’ morale.

Will Revanth do the magic?
Congress party will go into campaign with new face of TPCC chief, fire brand MP Revanth Reddy. This is the first battle Revanth will be facing after he was given charge of TPCC. Kaushik reddy, who earlier contested on party ticket, is likely to be repeated. He met Revanth and said the same but green signal from new TPCC has not yet been given. But Kaushik started his campaign in the constituency with a confidence that Revanth will give him the ticket. The task in front of Revanth is to be in the race and try at least for second place. The senior Congress leader Komatireddy who opposed Revanth Reddy said in a derogatory tone that if Congress saves its deposit, he will be happy. Revanth has a plan to stay for a month in the constituency and try for win. Congress party was with over confidence in Sagar by poll after Jana Reddy was declared as candidate, but the result was disappointing. Now the cadre are looking towards Revanth. Will he do the magic?

The battle will be mainly between TRS and BJP or, to put it straight, between Eatala and KCR. It will be tough for Eatala to face ruling party with allegations against him and to face government’s tactics. The major role will be man power and money power which will decide the result, but at the end the win matters and decides the future of these two political leaders.
