Promises to introduce reforms to make it easy for devotees
Dr. K. S. Jawahar Reddy has taken charge as the Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Saturday which is supposed to be a very auspicious day for Lord Balaji. Dr. Reddy climbed the steps to reach the hill in the morning. He told Sakshi TV that he would bring about new reforms to make it easy for the devotees to have comfortable darshan of the Lord. He said it is the result of good deeds done in previous birth that he could become the EO of the TTD. Dr. Reddy said he studied at Tirupati and has been closely associated with the region. He said the TTD would take abundant precautions during Brhamotsavalu to prevent Covid from spreading. He said he would meet the top officials of the TTD to chalk out plans to conduct Brahmotsavalu. “As part of Unlock-5, some exemptions have been given and we will take decisions accordingly,” he said.
