- Order from PMO shocks Telangana CM
Hyderabad: On Friday evening, a letter was sent to Telangana CS from PMO, Stating that only 5 persons are allowed to welcome PM at Hakimpet Airport on Saturday during his Visit to Hyderabad. This statement left senior officers shocked, as this is for the first time a regular protocol would be aside.
Whenever PM visits a place, it is protocol of CM and Governor to welcome him on behalf of the people of that particular State. As per it, yesterday Telangana CS wrote a letter to PM’s Personal secretary Vivek, that CM K.Chandrasekhar Rao will receive Modi at airport on Saturday.
Reply left them in rude shock which reads that only five persons are allowed and there is no need for CM to attend. Medchal Collector Swetha Mahanthy, DGP Mahender Reddy, CP Sajjanar,C.S Somesh Kumar and Hakimpet Air office Commandant are the names included by PMO.
PM Modi will arrive on Saturday to Hyderabad to review the status of Covaxin, vaccine under trail for Carona by Bharat Biotech located at Genome valley. He will spend an hour at Bharat Biotech and will leave for Delhi by evening.
PM will visit Zydus Biotech Park in Ahmedabad, Serum Institue of India (SII) in Pune also to review the trails of vaccine developed by these companies for Corona.
