Tirupati, January 23 : In recognition of his services in the fields of history and culture, the London-based ‘Book of World Records’ has presented him with a certificate of appreciation in Bangalore, historian-inscription researcher Mynaa Swamy said in a press note. Book of World Records Karnataka vice president Mrs. Vasantha Kavitha presented the certificate of appreciation at a function held at the Bangalore Press Club on Saturday.
Vasantha announced that she sas giving the appreciation certificate to Mynaa Swamy after directly supervising the Lepakshi national seminar. In December last year, a national seminar on “The Glory of Lepakshi Veerabhadra Temple – Need for ‘UNESCO Recognition by” was held in Lepakshi. Professors, research students, and historians from many universities participated in this seminar. Many conferences and seminars have been held in the last 20 years by Mynaa Swamy, especially on the topics of the Glorious Vijayanagaram Emperor Krishna Deva Raya the Great. He has written many investigative articles on history, tourism, and culture for 30 years. The book ‘Lepakshi’ symbolising the glory of Vijayanagara art and architecture, written by Mynaa Swamy has been well received. A research book written by Mynaa Swamy in English on the cultural splendour of the Vijayanagar Empire will be released soon in Delhi
