Pakistan’s lies after confessing to terrorist crime

  • It is time for India to get Pak blacklisted

As Pakistan has accepted that it was responsible for terrorist crime at Pulwama of Jammu & Kashmir in 2019, killing 40 CRPF personnel with an IED-laden vehicle, Prime Minister Modi is extremely happy, rightly so. What should India do now?

The Pakistan’s Parliamentary admission is a sensation in both the countries- Pakistan and India – because Pakistan was lying all these days denying its role behind terrorist attacks on India through cross-border intrusions.

Sequence of the ghastly criminal history of Pakistan explains the motive of Pakistan. First it attacked CRPF entourage killing 40 Jawans. Then India retaliated by surgical attack on Pakistan’s Balakot area, which the Pakistan repeatedly denied. Then Pakistan shot the Indian jet fighters, one of which was being flown Abinandan Vardhaman, who landed in enemy territory and was captured by them. India has built up pressure through diplomacy and warned serious war if Abhinandan is not released. Pakistan Army chief was shaken with fear. Abhinandan was released and a possible war was averted.

Pak’s fear of India

It was fear of attack by India that let IAF pilot free. Both the neighbours were about to indulge in war, which was avoided only due to unconditional release of Indian Abhinandan Vardhaman. Long after Abhinandan’s return home, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ayaz Sadiq MP Ayaz Sadiq has revealed the Imran government’s fear. Ayaz explained in detail that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi were in awe over the release of Abhinandan. Qureshi even said that India is about to attack Pakistan, and therefore it is urgent need to release the Indian Wing Commander.

In his speech in Parliament, Ayaz was attacking the government and said that ‘we did not bring an ordinance for Kulbhushan. We did not give Kulbhushan as much access as this command. He went on to say, What do you talk about Abhinandan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, and Army Chief were in that meeting. Qureshi had said, let Abhinandan go back, ‘Khuda ke vaste’ let  Abhinandan go, India will attack by 9 pm. Imran Khan refused to come to that meeting’.

Ayaz also said that India was not going to attack. The government only had to kneel and send the greeting back, and it did. At that meeting, Qureshi’s feet were trembling; he was scaring everyone by saying that India will attack at nine o’clock at night if he does not leave the reception. Whereas in reality, nothing like this was going to happen.

Who is this MP Ayaz Sadiq? He is not just another leader in Pakistan. He is a formidable foe of the present Prime Minister, Imran Khan, whom he defeated in the 2013 elections. Prime Minister Imran Khan had accused Ayaz Sadiq of rigging the election, which he could not prove in court. Ayaz Sadiq and Imran Khan have studied from the same school and have also been speakers at the National Assembly of Pakistan in 2013. Ayaz Sadiq is one of the trusted leaders of former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s party PML N and is considered close to Nawaz Sharif.

Provoked Pak Minister confesses

A day after Ayaz Sadiq’s exposure, a senior Minister in Imran Khan’s cabinet, Science & Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry reacted with a confession. Earlier, Pakistan had always maintained that it was not involved in the terror attack on the CRPF convoy, moving from Jammu towards Srinagar on February 14, 2019, at Pulwama killing 40 and injuring many more. But on 29th October, Fawad said: “Humne Hindustan ko ghuskemaara (We hit India in their home). Our success in Pulwama, is a success of this nation under the leadership of Imran Khan,” It was a sensational admission. The admission was made by a senior Pakistani Minister. That too in Pakistan’s highest legislative house National Assembly. Chaudhry is believed to be a close aide of Prime Minister Imran Khan and he made the statement just a day after Opposition Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ayaz Sadiq made his statement.

Pakistani Jets have shot down the MiG-21 Bison Jet of Abhinandan on February 27, 2019 in a dogfight. Then Indian Wing Commander landed in Pakistan territory with his parachute. Pakistan Army captured him. In fact, Ayaz Sadiq exposed the trembling fear of Pakistan Chief of Army who allegedly was shaken with the thought of Indian attack, whether it was rumour or valid information. Then Minister Fawad Chaudhary was provoked to admit the involvement of Pakistan in the terrorist attack at Phulwama.

It is clear from the confessions of Fawad Chaudhary and Ayaz Sadiq that Pakistan had not only carried out a terrorist attack in Pulwama but when India put pressure on Pakistan to bring back Wing Commander Abhinandan, Pakistan’s army chief and other leaders began to tremble for fear of being attacked.

Pakistan’s fear is not without any basis. Attacks by Indian army on Pakistan’s Balakot was reason for their fear. At the sametime India launched a strong and strategic diplomatic operation to bring the Wing Commander back to safety. India’s Air Chief was Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa during those days. Reacting to Pakistan’s confession, Dhanoa said that at that time India’s Air Force was absolutely ready to destroy Pakistan’s Posts Forward.

U turn by Pak Minister

Next day, after seeing the reactions to his ‘confession’ revealing the treacherous role of Pakistan in terrorism, Fawad Chaudhry tried to repair the situation throwing blame on Media. He claimed that his statement was twisted and he was misinterpreted.

He alleged Indian Media has given a misleading interpretation and told India Today:   “We don’t believe in ghar me ghuskemarna the way Indian media believes. In India, statements are twisted for political success. I was surprised to see how my statement has been twisted. This is ridiculous. This is how Indian media works. I advise everyone to hear my speech in full. I was referring to the events that took place after February 26, 2019.” Then he was trying to present a positive picture by saying that he wanted good relations with India. “We don’t have any hatred for India. It’s the BJP that gets votes on anti-Pakistan sentiments.”

It was not just the statement that could be twisted by anybody. He claimed it as their success and was also greeting leader and entire team, he said:“Our success in Pulwama, is a success of this nation under the leadership of Imran Khan. You and us are all part of that success.”

If Indian Media misinterpreted it how is that that sensational admission created an uproar in the assembly? After this, the minister rephrased his line saying: “Pulwama ke waqiyeh ke baad, jab humne India ko ghuskemaara (When we hit India  in their home after the incident at Pulwama)”. Later in a tweet, Chaudhry said that he was referring to “when our planes target combat installations”. “We do not show bravery by killing innocents and we condemn terrorism,” he said.

VK Singh’s advice

Response of Union Minister and former Army Chief General (Retd) VK Singh is relevant. He said that it is good that the country has admitted it and they should be blacklisted by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). The government said in the beginning that all leads point towards Pakistan. It is good that Pakistan has admitted it. I am sure our government will utilise this admittance to tell the world that Pakistan needs to be blacklisted in the FATF.”

Terrorists attack France

In France, on October 16, a school teacher was murdered in Paris. The reason of this school teacher named Samuel Patty was that he explained the freedom of expression to children in his class. He had used a cartoon of Prophet Mohammad, which was printed a few years ago in the French magazine ‘Charlie Hebdo’. A woman was beheaded by an attacker with a knife who also killed two other people at a church in the French city of Nice.

French President Emmanuel Macron declared that France will not bow to fanatical Islam and will resolutely deal with terrorism.France people feel that it is unfortunate that Muslim countries are not condemning terror attacks on their fellow citizens. India firmly stood with France against this Islamic fundamentalism and terrorism.

India should take this issue in its international advocacy to stop all the aids & supports to this terrorist sponsoring nation. No country including China should be allowed to help Pakistan until it abandon’s treacherous Islamic terrorism. India should exploit the confession by Pakistan on a serious point, which it was covering up with lies all these decades and isolate it in international fora through its diplomatic strategies. India has to raise its voice against Pakistan and get it declared as terrorist state besides blacklisting it by the Financial Action Task Force. Now its time to teach a lesson to neighbouring nation without resorting to war.
