Hyderabad: The result of MAA election is not settling down Tollywood which is heading towards a crisis with resignations of Prakash Raj from MAA membership. A day after Nagababu announced his resignation from MAA, now it is the turn of Prakash Raj who said that he is going to resign and will respect mandate.
In a chat with media persons, Prakash Raj said that he is associated with MAA for the past 21 years. “I came as an outsider and will remain as outsider. It is unfortunate I was not born in Telugu states.MAA is not a political zone but can’t stay where there is a political agenda. I have been working in Telugu films for a few years, how can I be an outsider? Anyhow, I am coming out of MAA but will work in Telugu cinemas” Prakash said.

Nagababu first to resign
After results were declared, Nagababu who supported Prakash Raj panel took to Instagram to announce his resignation from MAA’s primary membership. He clarified that the decision was his own and did not get influenced by any other person.
Vishnu, Mohan Babu lit the fire
Soon after the results were declared there were few sarcastic comments by both father and son, Mohan Babu and Vishnu. Everyone thought that atmosphere will be cooled once the elections were over. Vishnu, who looked emotional after getting elected as president said that it is jolt for members and elders who believe that film Industry runs on their words and Industry belongs only to them. These words hit Mega camp very hard as per sources.
Mohan Babu came out in a sarcastic way by saying, ‘Chiranjeevi, where are you, Vishnu won and bless him’. Chiranjeevi was at Pellisandai pre-release function at that time.
In a tough war between Prakash Raj and Vishnu for MAA President’s Post, 381 votes were polled for Vishnu and 274 for Prakash Raj, with Vishnu getting majority of 103 votes at the end.
