Hyderabad: Malkajgiri MP, Congress leader Revanth Reddy is still pinning hopes on being appointed as TPCC Chief as per his close aides. For this, he wants to be in public and show his strength and following to High Command until a new TPCC Chief is announced. He started his programme from Nizamabad in the name of “ Pasupu Deeksha Yatra” which was a huge success. From there he said that the yatra will run from Acchampeta to Hyderabad.
Deeksha turns Paadayatra, master plan by Revanth
Revanth Reddy suddenly converted his plan at Acchampeta from Deeksha to paadaytra, which surprised cadre and party members. Revanth is fighting against Centre’s new farm laws and he gave a call to farmers of Telangana to take part in ‘Rajiv Rythu Bharosa yatra’ programme to express their anger and opposition against the new farm laws. Large number of people had gathered in Acchempeta of Nagarkurnool district in support to Revanth. His close follower, MLA Seethakka urged him to start paadayatra from Achhempeta to Hyderabad, 140 km, after witnessing huge response to Revanth. Without wasting a minute, Revanth changed his journey, from Deeksha to Paadayatra which got a thunderous applause from party members. In a village, Uppunuthala, Revanth will take rest for overnight and will resume paadayatra on Monday early hours.

Target TPCC Chief Post?
Delhi High Command postponed temporarily on the announcement of new TPCC chief post at the request of senior Congress leader Jana Reddy. Until then, Revanth Reddy was in the race for the post, but there were speculations that Revanth will be heading campaigning committee and not TPCC. Even Revanth said the same speaking to media, but the inner sources of Revanth say that he is still interested in TPCC post and wants to demonstrate his following and strength to the party high command before they announce the name. He is the only person who can fight on KCR or KTR, he is young dynamic when compared to other leaders in the congress, say his followers.
Perfect Plan
Revanth started to execute his work by coming into public in the name of various yatras. Even at Achempeta, he made his followers make a statement urging him to start Paadayatra to Hyderabad. This was supported by MLA Anasuya( Seethakka) and Vamsi Krishna( party leader). Revanth said that he will accept the public demand and convert his deeksha into paadayatra with a statement that, ‘How can I go home in car to my residence and sleep when so many farmers are in favour of paadayatra. I have the courage to fight for four crore people of Telangana and the strength is given by people of Nallamala region,’ Revanth said. He demanded TRS government to pass a resolution in Assembly against the three farm laws.
