Hyderabad : In the defamation case filed by Minister KTR, the City Civil Court gave an injection order to Revanth Reddy not to make any remarks against the former till the case has been heard and decision was given. The court adjourned the next hearing to October 20
The court issued notices to Revanth Reddy to file a counter. KTR has filed a defamation suit against TPCC President Revanth Reddy in the City Civil Court for allegedly defaming him. It was heard by a third additional senior judge of the City Civil Court.
KTR asked the court to give interim orders. However, the interim orders were initially reserved by the City Civil Court. KTR has filed a petition alleging that Revanth Reddy is making false allegations against him which is linked to a drugs case. The petitioner asked the court to give directions to stop him from making false allegations.
The city civil court has directed Revanth Reddy not to make any comments referring to KTR in drugs and entire cases. KTR has filed a petition in the City Civil Court seeking an unconditional public apology from Revanth Reddy for false allegations of defamation. KTR asked for an apology through magazines, TVs and social media
In the petition, KTR sought an order directing Revanth to remove defamatory comments from Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms, and appealed to control Revanth Reddy and his followers from tarnishing his image making false remarks in connection with the entire drugs case.
