Hyderabad: Telangana is witnessing political heat from two sides, one is upcoming MLC elections and Sagar by poll, the other is political entry by Sharmila in Telangana. If the rumours were to be believed, Sharmila has a plan to launch a media group. Party leaders strongly believe that they need a media group to help to counter allegations facing from political parties and for party’s growth. If everything goes well as per Sharmila’s ideology and mindset, name of the media will be “MANASAKSHI” like Sakshi in Andhra Pradesh.
Had Talks with Prashanth Kishor?
Key sources say, Sharmila held talks with political strategist Prashant Kishor (PK) in 3rd week of February. PK was the one who made her brother YS Jagan Mohan Reddy sit in the chair of CM in Andhra Pradesh, with his strategies which worked well in 2019 elections. Sharmila wants to use the same strategist for her party in Telangana too.

Impact on INC
Political analysts are mocking at Sharmila’s bravado for the present but there is a clear storm building up in Telangana politics at ground level. The immediate impact will be on INC as per observers. Like TDP, INC will face a big jolt in Telangana too once Sharmila floats party. Nearly 30 plus Reddy community leaders are there in TRS and Congress, once Sharmila floats her party, one can say these community leaders would jump on to her bandwagon. A senior analyst said YSR’s image is more than 10% in Telangana even now after his demise took place 12 years back.
Sharmila returns from Bangalore
Sharmila reached Hyderabad on Sunday night and she will continue her talks with different district leaders on Monday. She completed talks with Mahaboobnagar, Nalgonda, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Khammam district cadres and also had meeting with Students of different Universities last week. Sharmila will continue talks with farmers, workers union leaders in coming days as per sources. Slowly and steadily, she is creeping up in Telangana and will show immediate impact on Congress party. But after that what? It is the question begging an answer right now.
