Mula Veereswara Rao’s Poetry collection titled ‘Vibrations of My Heart’ Amazon kindle book Review.
The modern groomed-up Poet Mr. M. Veereswara Rao’s new collection of Poems titled ‘Vibrations of My Heart’ is a surge of thought-provoking, mind- pleasing and soul-stirring poetic thoughts. Reading his poems provoke the reader’s mind to think and re-think on several aspects that we come across in our day to day life. In the poem, MOTHER OF SEVEN CHILDREN, the poet transmits his emotions through the lines …. A mother of seven was she / stood a source like a huge tree / she created a heavenly shelter / Alas! Her dreams simply falter / for they all flew away, matured. His expressions are lucid and are bound to leave a lasting imprint on the reader. His sensitive and emotively charged feelings are deeply felt in his poems; Euthanasia, An Ode to Village, Life, Death of a Poet, Surrogate Mother, Soldier’s Wife, Abused Child, Encounter, Made In India etc.
Poet Veereswara’s heart feels the vibrations of depleting morals and ethics in an urban oriented society. The lines in the poem “CITY” depict his concern … City’s culture / always prone to fashion vulture / everybody runs after money / nobody enjoys nature’s honey/ society is so selfish / you will be like a fish without water. At times, the poet dives deep into his inner self with a spiritual instinct perhaps, thus weaving poetic lines with mysticism. In one of the poems ‘OMKARESWAR” he jots … On the banks of river Narmada / juxtaposed by Jyothirlingam “Omkareswar” / Upon reaching Shiva / people pour sacred water / putting sacred leaves / putting sanguine flowers on lingam / worshipping with devotion / Temple echoing eternal “Om”.
As if in constant touch with his inner core memorable experiences and stark realities of human life, the poet pen lines, worth reading and relevant for one and all, in the poem, OLD AGE, viz., I am alone within four walls / accompanied by crawling lizards / peeling paintings / un-numbered spiders / incessant memory waves / repenting like lonely serpent / in the old age jungle / where young ones don’t mingle.
Poet Mr. M. Veereswara Rao’s interpretations on human life and behavior and the concern for other worldly hitches have been meticulously expressed and captured in his poems. His tendency and attitude to express and expose things through poetry, definitely would lead him reach new heights in the field of poetry and I feel, the poet continues his tryst with poetry with a much-more brilliant and thought-provoking poems in the years to come. I expect poetry lovers all over will enjoy the poems from this maiden collection ‘Vibrations of My Heart’.
The poet is a bilingual writer who published poems in English and Telugu since 1985. He published his works in English titled ‘Vibrations of my heart,’ as Amazon Kindle book. He works for a construction company as IT professional.
