Hyderabad: YCP MLA from Mangalagiri , Alla Ramakrishna Reddy met Brother Anil Kumar and Y.S. Sharmila at Lotus Pond here on Thursday. There was a lengthy meeting between these three for more than an hour. Though RK is not known to be close to Anil or Sharmila, he is understood to have come as an emissary of AP Chief Miister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to mediate. He is known to have suggested to Sharmila that she would better drop the idea of a political party in Telangana State. This is just a speculation so far, and what exactly has transpired at the meeting is not yet known.
It is true that YS family members are trying to convince Sharmila to desist from floating a party in Telangana as it will give wrong signal to party cadre of YSRCP in both Telugu states. The news about the rift between Jagan and Sharmila touched its peak on Feb 9th, when Sharmila came out from Lotus Pond and said that she will bring Rajanna Rajyam in Telangana. AP Govt Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that they tried to stop her from floating a party but couldn’t. YCP MLAs and ministers, close aides of Jagan said that they are no way connected to Sharmila’s party in Telangana and even YCP also won’t support it. We want to maintain good relation with our neighbouring Telugu state and we don’t support any party which will damage it, said YCP seniors.

As a last attempt, Jagan’s aides may give chance to RK to convince Sharmila from floating party and it might be from direction of AP CM as no one is dare enough to involve in internal matter of Jagan’s family members, said a senior YCP leader. As per news now, Sharmila is adamant and in a plan to go ahead as decided.
Jagan’s mother, Vijayalakshmi, who has been in Lotus pond from 9th Feb skipped meet of RK with Sharmila. She is maintaining silence on the latest developments in her family and is known to be in a helpless situation between son and daughter as per sources. But right now, she is keenly observing the developments of Sharmila as political leader and keen sources say, she may continue her journey with daughter for few more months from Lotus Pond.

Sharmila is focusing totally on Telangana and her aides say, she is daughter in law of Telangana and will run party in Telangana with force. March 9th will be party announcement and may contest in Sagar By poll as per the situation then. Meeting with Ranga Reddy, Khammam and Karimnagar districts leaders will follow in short span before she comes out with a clear agenda as per sources
